Mini Haul & Review // Brandy Melville & Sephora

Hey Boo

So on the weekend I was able to go to an exclusive Sephora event. It was for VIB rouge members (which my mom is), and she invited me as her plus one; thanks mum! The event was at all Toronto Sephora's and I went to the one at my local mall. You were able to shop the Sephora (only if you are a VIB) before the store opened to the public. They provided free Starbucks and pastries, had makeup artists there to do your makeup, and on top of all that you got 15% off everything. Pretty rad I would say.

After that we had a yummy brunch at my favourite restaurant (cause this girl gotta eat), and before I headed home I popped into the mall's Brandy Melville and was able to get this numbered flannel that I had my eye on for the past couple of weeks. Overall it was a very nice day, and i'm happy with all the goodies I got.

I picked up 4 things while I was there, this is what I got...

1. Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray - $36 CAN

I have had this on my makeup wishlist for months, after seeing it raved about all over youtube and blogs. It is said to be cooling and hydrating, which I can approved that it is. I have the dryest skin out of everyone I know, and this really helps. It also drastically helps makeup look better after you spray it onto. It makes it look blended and glowy. A+ for this product.
The only thing that I would say is that is says it has temperature control technology, which I wouldn't say i noticed a difference.

2. Clinique Moisture Surge Intense - $44 CAN

I had been using the regular moisture surge for a few months now, and it had made a huge difference in my skin quality; so i decided to up the amp and go for the intense version; which was a good choice for my skin. This moisturizer is a thick gel formula,along with a cooling feeling, and my skin and I love it. I use it at nights just because it is thick and a bit on the heavier side, but if i needed a extra moisture boost in the morning, it would work fine as well(when its paired with the moisture surge spray your skin looks like a dream). I love the whole moisturizing line for Clinique, and the makeup on top of that, its a brand worth checking out.

3. MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner (Shade C13) - $23 CAN

I kinda want to scream how much I love these lipliners from the top of a mountain, but i'll stop myself for now. These things are so worth the stupidly high price, because I have never had this experience with a lipliner before. It glides on like butter, it has the most awesome texture that makes your lips matte yet plush feeling, and best of all it DOES NOT BUDGE. This lip pencil literally will last all day through eating and drinking, NO LIES. I have the shades C2 & C3 and I decided to get this colour because I saw Kylie Jenner wearing a similar colour, and fell in love. If you buy any brand of lipliner make sure it is one of these.

4. MAKE UP FOR EVER Face & Body Liquid Makeup - $46 CAN

This purchase was not planned, I didn't even know this product existed until this shopping trip; but I am very glad I know about it now! A MUFE makeup artist was at the event and when I asked her if they had a tinted moisturizer that would give me a nice glow available because I don't need coverage. She showed me this and I was blown away at the results. It a super thin liquid that almost feels like water, and when you put it on your skin glows and looks airbrushed like the models in the magazines. Its super hydrating and looks as good at the end of the day as it did when you put it on (absolutely no creasing).
If you have oily skin you will most likely hate this product just because it will not work with you skin type (instead try the Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation). But if you have dry skin get this and thank me later.

// Brandy Melville Haul //

I've been wanting this flannel ever since I saw Kylie Jenner wearing it in a couple of vines. When I saw that they had them at my local Brandy Melville, I screamed a little. Considering my wardrobe is basically all black, white, and grey this flannel was meant to be in my wardrobe. Let me just say I love this thing so much I wore it for the first time the day after I got it, and I felt so good in it and it tied my outfit together. BUT the thing that bothers me it that Brandy Melville buys cheap flannels, sticks a cheap appliqué on it and doubles the price, but what can you do, they make them so appealing. I was thinking about it though and it seems pretty easy and cheap do so maybe one day you will see a D.I.Y for a personalized number flannel on here. Stay Tuned.

So that is is for my not so mini haul and review. I hoped you enjoyed reading this, if you did be sure to follow my blog for more posts just like it.

Kisses for you all.
